Is it too much to ask to take a decent race picture people????!!!!! I give myself credit, with race conditions as miserable as they were, this was the best I could muster up. I always know where the photogs are, and try to at least fake it when I pass them. Didn’t work so well this time when I was WET in 38 degree weather and 10mph wind gusts. This is all the pretty you will get out of me on a day like that!

Remember when I said my so-called water resistant Sugoi Running jacket wasn’t so water resistant I opted for a freakin’ golf jacket and how I felt like a TOTAL TOOL!? Here is me in all my golf jacket TOOL-INESS!
Is that a parachute I’m dragging behind me???? Not good for the aerodynamics you say???? I also look like I’m about to poo my trisuit don’t I?
I thought I would get a decent running shot with having practice “posing” for the running photogs…..NOPE! BTW, I officially HATE that hat! And look at that lovely left hip collapsing…..can tell someone hasn’t been compliant with PT!!!!!!
And here is lap two of the run course, I forgot about the photog the second time. What kind of facial expression is that….oh yeah….misery! There’s that damned collapsed left hip again!!!!
Good thing there wasn’t a photog at the finish. No telling what kind of HOT MESS would have been captured while I was busting a gut battling it out with the girl that tried to CHICK me.

That golf jacket is amazing. That must have been so difficult to ride in!
There is only one thing to do with bad race photos ….. make everybody you know look at them and revel in the horror!
I do have one photo that I just put a green sick face over my own. I mean there were about 12 or so chins just on me alone! It was terrifying!
All race photos suck, no matter what. I always think – seriously does anyone buy these things. The pic of you on the bike totally had me laughing outloud. That is AWESOME! I think you need to invest in a cycling jacket – just a suggestion
I don't think these are too bad at all. It's some sort of universal law that race photos have to be less than perfect. Riding with that jacket looks rough! It is like a parachute.

The golf jacket picture is the best! You are way braver than I am, I have some god awful pictures that I thought about posting (still might) but haven't yet.
I think your running ones look good – except for the collapsed hip. I think I have one of those.
I sometimes wonder if they purposefully post your worst pictures and secretly hide the decent ones. During my first half-marathon, I ran straight at a photog, knowing I'd have a good shot of the bridge behind me, but when my photos were posted- no such picture. Instead I have about 5 lovely shots of me "flapping my wings" at the finish line. (I will never raise my arms at a finish again!)
You know we keep the bad ones to show our non athletic friends the pain and suffering, just to make us look that much tougher.
Yours are not bad…. except…. for the parachute jacket, sorry I laughed at that one.
